Next-day delivery works like this:

Some UK postcodes require a 48-hour courier service.

For these areas:

  • Despatch days are Tuesday and Wednesday only
  • This ensures food stays frozen and safe in transit
  • Orders placed outside this window will wait until the next eligible despatch day

cut-off times

  • Orders must be placed before 12:00 midday for next-day delivery
  • Orders placed after midday will be dispatched on the next available day

This applies to both one-off and subscription orders.

packaging & box sizes

  • Each product comes in a box of 16 packs
  • Our shipping boxes fit up to two product boxes
  • Orders are packed frozen and insulated for transport

This keeps food frozen, reduces waste, and avoids unnecessary packaging.

delivery without signature

Our couriers deliver without a signature.

This means:

  • Parcels may be left in a safe place (porch, doorstep, garden)
  • If you don’t have a safe place, please make sure someone is available to receive the delivery
  • You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details

Once a parcel is marked as delivered by the courier, responsibility passes to the customer.

courier delays (the honest bit)

We aim for next-day delivery, but occasionally courier delays happen.

In some cases:

  • Delivery may extend to 48 hours
  • This is outside our control
  • Orders are packed frozen to withstand this timeframe

Next-day delivery is not guaranteed.

If you cannot accommodate a potential 48-hour delivery window, please do not place an order.

rejected deliveries

If an order is rejected or refused at the point of delivery, we are not liable.

This includes:

  • No safe place available
  • Customer unavailable to accept delivery
  • Rejection after a courier delay

Due to food safety regulations, frozen food cannot be re-delivered once rejected.

delivery instructions

We cannot manually add delivery instructions to parcels.

If you need to leave instructions:

  • Use the courier’s app or tracking link
  • Leave a physical note at your address (at the driver’s discretion)

Couriers are not required to follow instructions outside your property boundary.

stock availability & substitutions

While we aim to keep all products in stock, occasional shortages may occur.

If this happens:

  • We’ll contact you to discuss substitutions where possible
  • For subscription orders, you’ll be notified by email
  • Substitutions can be managed via your account
